About the Author - Napoleon Hill

Napoleon Hill was born in Wise County, Virginia in 1883. His writing career began at age thirteen as a newspaper reporter for small local papers. He attended law school, working as a reporter to help support himself.

His career as a leading success technique writer began as an assignment to write a series of sucess stories about famous men, among them Andrew Carnegie. Mr. Carnegie commissioned him to interview over 500 millionaires, including Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Henry Ford, Elmer Gates, Charles M. Schwab, Theodore Roosevelt, William Wrigley Jr, John Wanamaker, WIlliam Jennings Bryan, George Eastman, Woodrow Wilson, William H. Taft, John D. Rockefeller, F. W. Woolworth, Jennings Randolph, and many others.

With Andrew Carnegie's help, he formulated principles of success that anyone could use to achieve wealth and success. This was Think and Grow Rich, first published in 1932. Think and Grow Rich has since sold over 7 million copies and influenced the lives of millions of people and the entire success techniques industry, so much so that Napoleon Hill is often referred to as the Founder of The Science Of Success

Napoleon Hill passed away in November 1970, but his wonderful and influential works live on, continuing to make a difference in the lives of readers everywhere.
