About Patrick Suarez
Pat was born in Canton, Ohio, but lived in Puerto Rico, the Washington DC
area, and Los Angeles before settling in Springfield, Ohio (near Dayton) in
1969.
After a stint in the U. S. Air Force, Pat worked as a computer operator,
during which time he earned a B.A. in Political Science/Constitutional Law from
Wright State University (Go Raiders!). He completed his post-graduate work at
Central Michigan University with a Master of Science in Administration.
Pat became interested in the Internet in 1992. He published a tutorial
software program called "The Beginner's Guide to the Internet" in 1993, and a
book by the same title followed in 1995. In addition, he contributed the
Internet configuration chapter to Que's "Windows 95 Installation and
Configuration Handbook".
Pat is a noted Internet speaker, appearing on numerous radio and TV programs
across the nation. He also is the Internet speaker at the annual ComputerFest
trade show in Dayton each spring and summer, as well as fulfilling that same
role at the annual Texas Medical Association convention.
Pat is currently co-owner of The Fanfare Group, a multidirectional company
involved in Web design and motivational speaking.
